Kaito Meter Return and Warranty Policy

Kaito Electronics, Inc.  wants you to be satisfied with any product that you purchase from us. If not 100% satisfied, contact us within 30 days of your invoice. The following are conditions for a return.

1. We have basic 2 years warranty on all instrument and life time warranty for some specific instrument. If you have any questions, please feel free to call or email us for services. (service@multimeterwarehouse.com )
2. Unopened product may be returned to Kaito within 180 days from invoice date for a refund or exchange with no conditions.
3. Unopened product returned after 180 days from invoice date but within 1 year from invoice date, will be accepted for an exchange of product, with a restocking fee 15%.
4. Opened product that is defective from manufacturing may be returned to Kaito for exchange within 365 days of invoice date. exchange, subject to a 0% restocking fee.

General Returns Conditions - Applicable to all returns:

1. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Customer is responsible for shipping charges and risk of loss on all shipments, incoming or outgoing.
2. Authorization Return (AR) numbers are valid for 30 days.  For some special meters like Lux meters, we have 10 days return time because some customers just return for no reason after a project, and they are subject to 20% restocking fees. Kaito reserves the rights to refuse or accept the returns.
3. Any return not clearly displaying a Kaito Authorization Number (AR) number will not be accepted.

General Warranty Conditions:

1. Kaito hereby disclaims all other warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
2. Kaito does not guarantee product compatibility with customer devices.

The Warranty does not Cover:

1. Units that have been misused or damaged by accident.
2. Units that have been repaired or altered by persons other than Kaito Electronics, Inc. Service Center.
3. Damage caused by leaking batteries.

Please send the item(s) back to us with the RMA XXXXX # and with the following info:

1. Proof of purchase, with date & company name

    1.1. Put your RMA # at the top sheet.

2. Make sure your contact information is on the sheet.

    2.1. Name

    2.2. Address, (in case your shipping box gets damage).

    2.3. Phone #, so the Technician can call if he needs to.

3. Description of the problem (s. It can be put on the back of the sheet if need be.

4. All returns must be in original boxes, and placed inside a shipping box.

     Do not put mailing labels on original packaging. This type of packaging is not    meant for shipping. This type of shipping may result in further damage to the product and void warranty.
